The 25th Symposium on Theory and Practice of Shipbuilding

07 - 10 September 2022, Malinska – Croatia

SORTA 2022 is the 25th Symposium on the Theory and Practice of Shipbuilding in memoriam prof. Leopold Sorta organized by the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture, University of Zagreb. Such a significant tradition of the Symposium proofs the importance of shipbuilding science and practice for both the economic and scientific development of the Republic of Croatia. Relying on such a significant tradition, the SORTA 2022 Symposium will contribute to the integration of the existing knowledge and experience in the context of modern scientific and professional achievements in the field of shipbuilding, offshore engineering, maritime and inland navigation, through invited lectures, scientific and professional papers.

The symposium will be held from Wednesday, September 7 to Saturday, September 10, 2022, at Hotel “Malin”, Malinska, Island of Krk, Croatia.

CALL FOR PAPERS

Authors are invited to submit papers contributing to the given symposium topics. The authors are kindly asked to submit the abstract by the given deadline. The Croatian authors should submit the Croatian and English abstract versions, while only the English version is required for foreign authors. Each abstract should have a maximum of 200 words. The full paper should be prepared according to instructions available on the website

SORTA 2022 Supporting Journal
Authors of the papers selected by supporting journals will be invited to submit their papers for the standard journal’s review procedure. The abstract of these papers will be published in the proceedings of the SORTA 2022 symposium.

The official languages of SORTA 2022 are Croatian and English.
